Bio

he/him

I'm a New York-raised Californian, filmmaker, photographer, partner and parent. My filmmaking began in the Gulf of Mexico, aboard fishing boats and a 4-seat Cessna, documenting the impacts of a deepwater oil spill. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, I spent several years working and learning in New York before moving to the Bay Area in 2015. Today, my work is based in San Francisco and focused on the stories I was drawn to in the beginning, about wildlife, natural systems and people. Some of my recent and ongoing films feature coyotes in San Francisco, newts in Marin County and goats grazing across California.
